Congratulations to Cameron who received a Community Award in the youth category from Dawlish Town Council this year. Cameron was recognised for his commitment to the role of Senior Helper with Dawlish Action for Youth. The young people who attend the youth clubs have the opportunity to become senior helpers and help support the team of Youth Workers and Adult Volunteers. They are encouraged to have a voice and help develop and run the sessions. Cameron has increased his skills and confidence over the years and is a valuable member of the team. It was wonderful to share in the celebration of his award which was richly deserved. Well done Cameron!
